Bunya takes his medicine

Recently, RR recapped Bunya's medicine status: We have abandoned the bunny burrito, against which he rebels by boxing the edge of the towel before you can fold it up over his front feet.

Now, we just pick him up, give him a tiny piece of papaya and then let him take in the medicine at his own speed; afterwards, a reward papaya for all. (You can see other examples of the bunny burrito, with Alice, here and here.)

And here, you can see Bunya taking his medicine and licking it down until it's all gone.

Then, he gets a head skritch, a kiss and a papaya (this last one being the only one he really cares about).

  1. Oh my goodness, he's SO cute!! I love watching them eat (or take medicine), too. Junie does the boxing thing with the blankets, which is so funny to watch! I have to cover her head with a blanket when I brush her because she will NOT sit still for brushing/grooming, haha!

  3. What kind of medicine are you feeding him? Umbra refused hers, I gave up and mixed it with some mashed banana.

I do love the way they lick their lips!
